Double skin spiral duct insulation with Gi cladding is a type of duct system that consists of two layers of metal ducts with insulation in between. The inner duct is usually made of galvanized iron (Gi) and the outer duct is made of aluminium or stainless steel. The insulation can be fiberglass, mineral wool, or polyurethane foam. The purpose of this system is to provide thermal and acoustical control for the air distribution in buildings.
